The next seminar of the Institute for Physical Problems was held on 16.01.2020.
At the seminar, lead researcher of the Institute, Alieva Tarana has made a report on “Analytical solution of the Schrödinger equation for the Peshl – Teller potential by the Nikiforov – Uvarov method”. The radial Schrödinger equation for the Peshl – Teller potential was solved analytically, using the Nikiforov – Uvarov method. For the energy spectrum and the eigenfunctions of the particles, their analytical expressions were obtained. It was shown that the energy spectrum and the eigenfunction of a particle depend on the radial quantum number.
