Director of the Abdus Salam International Center for Theoretical Physics professor Fernando Quevedo has made an official visit to Baku State University and then speaking at the seminary

Director of the Abdus Salam International Center for Theoretical Physics (ICTP), a well-known theorist in elementary particles and high-energy physics, professor of Cambridge University, Fernando Quevedo has made an official visit to Baku State University.
The purpose of the visit is to establish close scientific links between Baku State University and the International Center for Theoretical Physics, in various fields especially theoretical and applied problems of physics and mathematics organize and plan joint international research activities for masters, young scientists and researchers.
To this end, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between two organizations. The memorandum was signed by rector Elchin Babayev and director of the International Center for Theoretical Physics Fernando Quevedo.
Later Fernando Quevedo has reported a lecture to the students and faculty at the seminar held at Baku State University on the topic of "The search for a fundamental theory of the university.
"At the same seminar, chief researcher of the Institute of Physical Problems Mais Suleymanov made a presentation on "High Energy Physics at Baku State University (M. Suleymanov, Sh. Agaev)".
